i am
grasping
at
only one
blade
of grass
as
my soul
connection
to this
world.

COME
BACK TO ME
I have been drifting for so long,
floating upside down... in pools of
perpetual prepartion.
I have no one to cook for
there is no more reason to eat.
Come back to me.
I can not sleep.
I hate.
It's all dusk and darkness and regret.
I still feel your fingerprints,
as you pushed me away.

It only hurts if you keep trying
It'd be better if she stopped lying
My heart is pumping it's precious oil
But my love has no where to toil
Smoke in my lungs pain in my chest
Dereks Uncle knows what best
The door closed and so did she
How i wished i live in that memory
I kept listening and kept crying
And Jenny didn't care my soul was dying
In my dreams there is no green field
I've just become a chemical mess

To
the owner of a poetic soul:
Tis not the sorrow that makes me frown,
Nor is it the loneliness that gets me down.
But merely that I am awash with melancholy blueness,
And I've not a clue on how to get through this.
Here I am again, as I have not been for a while.
The change booth poet with no reason to smile.
I hoped it would not come to this,
Back to a place I would never miss.
Stuck inside my own head, inside my own heart.

I understand your reasons, and I do not fault you. In fact
your show of friendship makes me know I was right about you.
Every word you said resounds in my head with a great echo. All
the things you meant makes me not want to let you go. I'm torn
up inside knowing this is all my fault ...

I scratch one place on my back
and my whole back wants scratching
I love one person on this earth
and the whole world wants loving

Fifty years ago
when I was just thirteen
I stood alone
one dark cold evening
in the spring
beneath a maple tree
There was no sound
no sound at all
no wind
only the snow was falling
it was there I fell in love
with solitude
